Adamu: APC must win all of the states we won’t be content with securing 25% of the vote
To ensure the All Progressives Congress (APC) wins the 2023 elections, Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s national chairman, has urged party members to band together.
After establishing an eight-member Abia reconciliation group, Adamu made the plea while addressing the media.
According to Adamu, the party would not be content with just 25% of the total number of votes cast in the general election.
We must put forth some effort, let go of certain prejudices, and stand as one, added Adamu.
“We don’t want someone to show up here following the elections and start sobbing and blaming us for our mistakes.
“I’m not going to listen to that. The time to come together and work toward unity is now; if we do, God will be with us.
“We will not be happy with merely the 25% of votes cast in any national election, including the house of representatives, senate, governorship, and perhaps the presidential election.
“We must aim to win every state if we are to win, no half measures.”
