The Gunners won five straight games to take the top spot in the Premier League until falling to Manchester United on September 4.

As the first Arsenal manager to win the August edition of the award since Wenger in 2004, Arteta was named the Premier League manager for the month of August.

Arteta was tutored by Wenger while he was a player, which encouraged him to pursue a career in management. Wenger had previously stated that the team had “no weak position.”

They shouldn’t be written off as a title contender this year, according to Wenger.

Arteta responded to Wenger’s assertion by saying, “It’s nice to hear it from Arsene after being with him every day!

“However, I see a number of areas where we still need to strengthen and develop. Although we are moving in the right direction, we have a long way to go.
