Buhari pays tribute to late Governor Akeredolu’s mother
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State and his family have received condolences from President Muhammadu Buhari on the demise of their cherished mother, Mrs. Grace Akeredolu.
Buhari advised the Akeredolu family to draw strength from Mama’s life lessons, the virtues of compassion and care she instilled in them, and the sacrifices she made for her children to thrive in life in a statement signed by Femi Adesina, his spokesperson.
President Buhari prayed for the deceased’s soul to rest in peace and asked the family to remain steadfast in their faith and confidence in God to see them through this trying time.
According to pressloaded, Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu, the mother of Governor Akeredolu, passed away quietly in her sleep on Thursday morning.
She was reportedly 90 years of age.
The nonagenarian’s passing was verified by Richard Olatunde, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary.
Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members are still alive.
