Defenders in the Premier League are terrified of Haaland
Defenders are reportedly terrified of Erling Haaland, the striker for Manchester City, according to former Premier League player Andy Townsend.
When he scored against Wolves last Saturday, Haaland made history by becoming the first player to ever record goals in each of his first four away Premier League matches.
The Norwegian has 11 goals for Pep Guardiola’s team in just 7 league games.
After receiving the ball from Bernardo Silva, the former Borussia Dortmund star easily ran toward goal before shooting past Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa.
“It’s a little bit dirty when he strikes it. Kilman did, however, seem to back off. You must reject that person, Townsend said to talkSPORT.
They feared him so much.
With his goal, Haaland became the first player in Premier League history to score in each of their first four away matches.
