Dwight McNeil, a winger for Burnley, has joined Everton on a five-year agreement for roughly £20 million.
With the Clarets, McNeil made 140 appearances and has only missed two Premier League games since December 2018.
The former England Under-21 international is Everton’s third summer addition, after Ruben Vinagre on loan from Sporting and James Tarkowski, a former Burnley teammate.
The 22-year-old McNeil remarked, “It is a fantastic feeling to sign.
“Given the club and the team’s caliber, I was eager to complete the deal as soon as I learned of Everton’s interest.
“I think having a manager like Frank Lampard will help me improve my game and raise my stats, which is what I want to accomplish.
I can sprint directly with the ball. I enjoy grabbing the ball, cutting inside, and giving the team opportunities.
