Goals Are What Arsenal Supporters Will Remember About You Gabriel Jesus Warns

Gabriel Jesus, an Arsenal striker, has been warned by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink that at the end of the season, people will only remember him for his contributions to the team.

This was said as he outlined a significant distinction between Jesus’ contributions to their 3-1 loss to Manchester United on September 4 and their 3-0 triumph over Brentford on Sunday.

The Brazilian must concentrate on scoring goals, the former Chelsea striker urges, reminding him that this was the main reason he was brought in from Manchester City.

Arsenal lost 3-1 to United at Old Trafford earlier this month, but on Sunday, they defeated Brentford 3-0 to get back on the winning track.

Hasselbaink believes that Jesud’s inability to score against Man United was due to the striker’s excessive midfield dropping.

Hasselbaink referred to him as a “number nine” to Sky Sports. I can give you a ball and shape you up if I’m number nine and I want players to make plays from here and there.

He arrived at Arsenal in order to score goals. He can occasionally drop into the middle, but he must set up in the penalty area.

“People will remember him for that at the end of the season,” the player said. “Last week he wasn’t going into the box; today he’s in the box making the difference.”
