If Chelsea wants to score more goals they must sign this player

Former West Ham striker Frank McAvennie has pushed Chelsea to recruit Allan Saint-Maximin from Newcastle United.

McAvennie thinks Saint-Maximin and Raheem Sterling in Chelsea’s offensive line can work wonders together and provide Thomas Tuchel’s team with the goals they need.

Earlier this summer, Sterling was acquired by Chelsea from Manchester City.

According to McAvennie, Football Insider:

He won’t want to depart, in my opinion. Newcastle is not yet as popular as Chelsea, but they soon will be.

“The question is if he wants to continue and take part in that build.

They were hopeless before Eddie Howe joined them, thus he is the only player I would have kept.

He’d be an excellent addition for £40 million. Playing up front with him and [Raheem] Sterling would be intriguing. They would have a lot of goals scored.
