If You Derail I’ll Disagree. Warns Brother Adeleke

Elder brother of Senator Ademola Adeleke, the governor-elect of Osun State, and founder of Adeleke University in Ede, Osun State, Dr. Deji Adeleke, has threatened to lead opposition against his younger brother if his government falters.

The brother gave a speech at the University’s seventh convocation ceremony, which was held on the grounds of the organization on Sunday.

In addition to the nation’s struggle with effective leadership, he added, the country’s followership was also lacking.

Adeleke, who criticized the practice of buying votes, claimed he advised some governors of the Peoples Democratic Party and his brother to put together a strong team that would work to raise the standard of living for the populace because the governor-elect would not be returning money to any godfathers after the election.

I informed the governor-elect (Sen. Ademola Adeleke) and his colleagues, the man stated. I stated that you are fortunate in that you don’t have a godfather to whom you must return any funds; therefore, any contributions made to your election were made in exchange for a better Nigeria and state.

“Therefore, there is no pressure on you or your colleagues. You merely need to go serve the people there; nothing else is necessary. And I warned them that if I saw anything wrong with his regime, I would be the first to hold a press conference.

I’ll be the first to warn everyone that your governor is in trouble, and I’ve warned him and his team not to bring on board anyone who isn’t ready to work or whose main goal is to hunt for money or steal from the poor.
