I’m not thinking about backing Atiku for president because I want to win says Peter Obi

Contrary to assertions made in some quarters, Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, has said that he is not considering supporting Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s campaign for the presidency in 2023.

Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president in the upcoming election, declared that he was in it to win it.

This was said by Obi on Monday while he was a guest on Politics Today on Channels Television.

Obi gave a resounding “no” when asked if he would consider working with the leader of the People Democratic Party should the need arise.

“Everyone enters a match with the intention of winning; none considers what might occur. I’m entering this competition with the goal of winning and becoming Nigeria’s president.
