Man in Kwara falls into well while attempting to fetch water

A 25-year-old man perished at Omu-Aran, the administrative hub of Irepodun Local Government Area in Kwara State, after falling into a well.

This was confirmed in a statement issued in Ilorin by Hassan Adekunle, chief of media and publicity for the Kwara Fire Service.

He claimed that in the presence of police officers, firefighters were able to recover the body and deliver it to a member of the deceased’s family.

According to the investigation’s findings, the deceased went to the well very early in the morning to gather water but slipped and fell inside, Adekunle said.
