The private driver who took her from Abuja to Osun State claimed that after dropping her off at Igbona Market in Osogbo, he then took her to Wema Bank in Osogbo.

The student was located unharmed and is receiving the necessary care, according to Taoheed Alimi, a spokesman for the institution who confirmed the development in a statement on Monday evening, July 25.

In a statement, Fountain University, Osogbo’s administration said, “I write to tell the general public that one of our students, Hadiza Salami, who was recently declared missing has been discovered.”

Miss Salami was discovered unharmed thanks to the security personnel’s efforts and, of course, the widespread public support.

Therefore, the university administration requests that everyone cease any publicity indicating that she is still missing.

“Once more, I want to thank the Nigerian Police force and other security operatives, the press, as well as the general public for the show of solidarity on behalf of the management and the parents of Miss Salami.”
