Neighbor’s wrist is severed when the neighbor assaults his girlfriend

Usman Danladi “M,” also known as “Murderer,” has been detained by the Nasarawa State Police command for reportedly hacking off the wrist of Jibrin Abdullahi, 25, in Tudun Wada Area, Auta Balefi of Karu Local Government Area of the State.

The arrest took place after the police learned about Jibrin’s attack on Friday, claims DSP Ramhan Nansel, the State’s Police Public Relations Officer, in a statement released on Sunday.

According to the PPRO, the suspect, who was apprehended on Saturday, has admitted to committing the crime.

The victim allegedly struck the suspect’s girlfriend, Aisha, before a fight broke out between them, the police official said.

“On September 16, 2022, at or around 1600 hours, information was received that one Jibrin Abdullahi “M,” 25, of Kaduna State, but a resident of Tudun Wada Area, Auta Balefi of Karu LGA, Nasarawa State, was attacked and had his wrist severed,” the document states.

When they learned of the incident, police officers from the Goshen City Division, under the direction of CSP Eunice Ogbadu, went to the scene and took the victim to the Federal Medical Center in Keffi for treatment.

“As a result, a thorough search for the villain behind the nefarious deed was launched. On September 17, 2022, the detectives’ work was rewarded with the arrest of the main suspect, Usman Danladi ‘M,’ 21 years old and also known as the murderer.

“During questioning, the suspect admitted to committing the act but said that the victim had previously attacked his girlfriend (Aisha), and when he confronted him, a struggle broke out, during which the victim was attacked with a machete.

He said, “The suspect would then be charged to court for prosecution. The Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi has directed that the case be sent to State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia, for further investigation.”
