Nigerian soldiers ambush Boko Haram terrorists in Borno killing 7
According to reports, the Operation Desert Sanity, or Hadin Kai, troops ambushed suspected Boko Haram fighters, also known as Jam’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihd, and killed six of them.
According to information obtained by pressloaded, the 73 Battalion carried out a successful ambush in Kayamla Village, close to Maiduguri, the unrest-ridden capital of Borno State, on September 21 in response to reliable intelligence. As a consequence, the terrorists were neutralized.
Zagazola Makama, a Security Analyst and Counter Insurgency Expert in the Lake Chad, was informed by an intelligence officer that the roving terrorists were those fleeing from a heavy military assault on Boko Haram strongholds.
According to the informant, they frequently visit the region to terrorize farmers and occasionally abduct people for ransom.
He claimed that the military has stepped up its offensives against terrorists, their allies, and the providers of their logistical support.
