Ronaldo the star of Man United is not a loyal player (Read More)
Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Gabriel Agbonlahor, a former player for Aston Villa, has no loyalty to Manchester United and would join Liverpool this summer if given the chance.
In spite of his agent Jorge Mendes’ best efforts to get him a Champions League team, the 37-year-old is determined to leave Old Trafford this summer.
The Red Devils’ dreadful 2021/22 campaign and subsequent relegation to Europa League play prevented Ronaldo’s 18 league goals from lifting the club into the Champions League.
After speaking with United executives on Tuesday, including new manager Erik ten Hag and previous manager Sir Alex Ferguson, it is believed Ronaldo is still planning to leave.
With just one year remaining on the striker’s contract, the Red Devils do not intend to offload him, and it doesn’t seem like many Champions League teams are eager to sign him.
Ronaldo would have no issues joining a rival club to further his professional ambitions, according to Agbonlahor.
If he could, Cristiano Ronaldo would sign for Liverpool this summer, according to Agbonlahor on talkSPORT.
“They are Man United’s main opponents, but Ronaldo is the focus here.
“He’ll go somewhere he can play Champions League football, build his resume, and win championships.
“I don’t believe Ronaldo is devoted to Juventus, Real Madrid, or United.”
