With Paqueta’s signing Arsenal Football Club receives a major boost


Bruno Cheyrou, the head of Lyon, has acknowledged that Lucas Paqueta may depart, which has greatly aided Arsenal’s consideration of a bid for the midfielder.

Cheyrou has now encouraged the Premier League team that a deal can be reached.

“We must minimize the size of the squad.

“With regard to departures, we will evaluate offers on an individual basis, but the economics will be taken into account. To make the best choices, Jean-Michel Aulas and Vincent Ponsot and I will discuss the offers.

He noted that Paqueta in particular:

“We are ready for any situation,”
